Types of anesthesia
Rhinoplasty surgery can be performed under local, local anesthesia + sedation, or local + general anesthesia.
Which one do we prefer?
We prefer local anesthesia and sedation in most cases, however there will be cases where general anesthesia is indicated in more complex cases and some cases of secondary rhinopathies.
Where is it done?
The intervention is performed in an operating room of a high complexity center (Sanatorium, Hospital, Clinic, etc.). It is not done in offices.
How it is performed?
The surgery is performed on an outpatient basis, that is, the patient can go home approximately 3 to 4 hours after completing the surgery.
